DAI Heidelberg – Das Haus der Kultur Sofienstrasse 12, 69115, Heidelberg
Spirit Heidelberg, In Dialogue

AI no longer simply supports our work, but increasingly shapes decisions in politics, business, and everyday life. But what responsibility do we want to entrust to intelligent systems? And what skills do we need to act autonomously? The artist and designer Raphael Arar and the democracy researcher Jonas Fegert discuss how AI is changing responsibility, participation, and decision-making processes. What could sustainable collaboration look like? Where do automated systems reach their limits? And how can technological innovation be designed so that it expands rather than restricts democratic scope for action?

Biographies

Raphael Arar is an artist, designer, and researcher. His work explores how artificial intelligence is changing democratic processes, collaboration, and collective decision-making.

Moderation: Dr. Jonas Fegert heads the House of Participation and is a Senior Expert for digital democracy and participation.
