1. About 1014

1014 Inc. is a not-for-profit transatlantic cultural organization based in the heart of New York City. It brings people together from both sides of the Atlantic to creatively engage with today’s global topics. Through free, interdisciplinary programs, 1014 fosters dialogue and exchange across cultures and disciplines. 1014 membership opportunities cultivate a vibrant community of Atlanticists. A board of directors with 8 current members oversees its operations.

2. Scope of Project

As the 1014 community continues to grow, 1014 is looking for a graphic design team to work over three years on promotional flyers, outreach brochures, annual reports, and other graphic design materials. To select a design team, 1014 requests design firms submit proposals with estimated quotes for each of the following materials

a) 1 original brochure

• Letter size, 16 pages, full color

b) 1 annual report

• Letter size, 36 pages, full color (includes photographs, texts, graphics, and charts)

c) 1 original flyer

• Half-letter size, 2 pages, full color

d) 1 hour of original design work

• Creating new design concepts

e) 1 hour of editing / template adjustment work

• Edits / adapting a previous template

The selected graphic design team will be offered a non-exclusive, 3-year framework agreement to work with 1014 on the above materials and more.

For examples of previous graphic designs for 1014, please email Jana Adkins at j.adkins@1014.nyc and request the graphic design materials folder. Upon your request, we will send you the folder, which includes a brochure, an annual report, and a flyer, via WeTransfer.

3. Submission Requirements

Proposals must include:

‍

a) Contact details of the applicant, including name, address, email, and phone number.

b) Estimated quotes for each of the items listed in Section 2 of this call for proposals.

c) A brief overview of the design firm’s mission and link to the firm’s website or social media page.

5. Terms and Conditions

Issuance of this RFP does not commit 1014 to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in preparation of proposals responding to the RFP.
